A Shooting Near North Shackleford and Mara Lynn Road in Little Rock Left 2 Injured

Two vehicles were in pursuit of one another on the intersection of North Shackleford and Mara Lynn Road. The
chase ended in one cars' passengers were shot. Once the Little Rock Police Department arrived on the scene they encountered the two victims one male and one female.
The male was shot in the stomach and is in critical condition as of now and the
female victim was only grazed and is OK. The suspect managed to flee the scene
and the detectives and officers on the scene was actively looking for him. A local
elementary school, Terry Elementary, was placed on lockdown due to the shots
fired and the hunt for the suspect. As of now the LRPD is still looking for the suspect and looking for any witnesses with information.

Officers and Detectives are investigating a shooting at N. Shackleford and Mara Lynn Road.
Due to the location of the shooting Terry Elementary was initially on Lockdown status.
