Sex Offenders in Pulaski County near Me

        Upon completing this assignment, I was unaware of what exactly to research regarding public records, until speaking with my mother. According to her, there are various public records that some homeowners and those looking to purchase a home look into in various neighborhoods. They look into the rankings of the schools in the area, the number of homes that are for sale, rent, or in foreclosure, crime frequency in the area, and sex offenders living nearby. I decided to look in to sex offenders in Pulaski County Arkansas near our family home.

        Now of the 6 offenders that I found, they all live in the large span vicinity of our family home. Half of the offenders are homeless, so they are subject to migration. I did notice that all the offenders are male, and 5 out of 6 are men of color. The ages range from 42 to 53, and their charges  consist of: second degree sexual assault, sexual solicitation, carnal abuse, indecent exposure to a child, first- and third-degree carnal abuse, and carnal knowledge of a juvenile. Only two of the sexual offenders are considered level 3 offenders and high risk, while the other 4 offenders are considered level 2 offenders who are moderate risk. Carnal knowledge of juvenile is consensual sex where one party in above the age of  allowed consensual sex is aware of the other parties young age and still goes through with the sexual relationship. Carnal abuse is when the offender in 20 years of age or older has sexual intercourse or deviate sexual activity with someone of that the is not their spouse and is under the age of 16. These public records were somewhat uncomfortable to research but at the same time it is better to know, so that we can all be aware and govern ourselves accordingly.
