The Frenzy for Fried Chicken

Popeye's has been a hot topic on social media since they released their Chicken Sandwich back in August. The brand took a break from selling the sandwiches and has now started selling them in their stores again this month. Since the Popeye's Chicken Sandwich was launched several Popeye's location have been packed with people eager to try their new creation. When you have so many people waiting in long lines for a limited amount of sandwiches at various locations as you could image the atmosphere can be rather tense.  

 There have been several fights, arguments, car accidents, and one man was even killed all over a chichicken sandwich. Although many people have found it humorous, most of these incidents have resulted in the parties being arrested and in some cases injured.

At a Popeye's location in Maryland two men got into an argument over a spot in the line desiganted for those looking to purchase chicken sandwiches. The argument migrated to the parking lot where one on the men, stabbed the other and fled the scene before the police arrived and has yet to be apprehended. The injured party was taken to the local hospital nd died approximately an hour later.
